I realize that everyone probably thought that this thread was gone. But, I
just learned something new that I thought I would share. I picked up Michael
Jackson's Bar and Cocktail Companion today, and as I was reading through it I
came to the martini. He points out that a martini can be made with vodka or
gin, but states that a vodkatini should actually be called a Kangaroo. So,
take what you will from that, and remember that if anyone comes to your bar
asking for a Kangaroo, they want a vodka martini.
