Opened several bottles of our Friexinet Cordon Negro Champagne (sparkling wine) on my shift today, and they were ALL totally and cmpletely flat!! No bubbles, no effervescence. How and why does champgane go flat if the bottles have never been opened before?? Could they just have been a bad batch, or does champagne and sparling wine have a shelf life (even if unopened)?? Any thoughts??
