We serve them in my bar. I would say no, don't boil the vodka, but at least
use room-temperature vodka rather than straight out of the freezer; yes, it's
hard to get them to set, and leave them in the fridge at least overnight. Pour
into individual cups before leaving them to set in the fridge.
We serve them with a little straw, as the straw helps to break the skin that
develops on top. (Yum!) Also, do not put the shots in glass, put them in
plastic or else in little paper cups, because your guests will need to squeeze
the cups in order to get all of the delicious ooze/booze out. Don't worry if
they're a bit runny, everyone will love them, and it's perfectly acceptable to
place the shot cup between someone's breasts, then slurp out the juice with
your tongue. At least that's how we do it in New Orleans. ;)
