 [ The 'other kind' (Bushmills) is excellent and a bit 'higher class'(?) of 
Irish Whiskey.  Thanks for this discussion - I had searched in vain in this 
site's drink list for a "Depth Bomb", which W.C. Fields ordered in one of his 
movies, and which I had heard of elsewhwere:  beer, with a shot glass of 
either whiskey, bourbon or scotch dropped in.

 P.S. Mightn't it be risky asking for this drink by this name in Ireland? ]
