Subject: Bartender Training CD
From: Ralph Summer

I have been thinking about getting the bartender training CD from
barproducts.com. I have noticed it for a while, and thought it might be
helpful in training new bartenders. The description of it on the website
doesn't really say much about what it is or what skills it teaches. I was
wondering if any of you guys had any experience with it, good or bad. Does it
just offer a skill and drill review of mixology, or a training session in
service techniques behind the bar? Is it interactive? Is there a testing
feature? Can I monitor the progress of my employees?

The CD is rather expensive and I would like some honest feedback before
spending money on it. I know that nothing can replace real world experiece
behind a bar, I'm just looking for a way to better prepare the guys to stand
behind my stick for the first time.
