What kind of beer are you drinking? If it is ales, then maybe try a lager,
making sure that its COLD! They are typically a little lighter bodied (can
you say that about beer?), therefore will lessen the bloated feeling. Can't
do much for you on the bathroom breaks dillema, once I break the seal, I'm a
one-or-more-trips-per-beer kind of guy.

How about wine? If you do not like sweet drinks, you will probably want to
ask for a dry wine. Most places will let you try some of their house wines to
help you decide what you would like to order. I have noticed that when it is
warmer out, people will like white wines since they are chilled. At, or near,
normal room temperature, either a white or red is nice, and below room
temperature a red wine will help warm you up.

Scotch is nice....if you have money. You can try a cheap one, but I can
pretty much guarantee that you won't want to be sipping it for long. And as a
new scotch drinker I would recommend getting it on ice and maybe as for a side
of water to water it down a little.

People seem to either really like or really hate manhattans, maybe try a gin
or vodka martini.

You can always ask the bartender. Maybe he has a special drink for someone in
your situation.
Hopefully you'll like something.

Good luck
Jeff
