> Which is the best book for learning starting from cero?
Ticha,
One of the books that I bought when I started bartending, was the Complete
Idiot's Guide to Mixing drinks. This is a really good book. There are a lot
of books out there that have a lot more recipes than this one, but those are
recipes that no one's ever used, very few have even ever heard of. The book
gives a quality run down on the history of spirits, history of some drinks,
methods of preparation, etc. Plus, there are some anecdotes featuring some of
the biggest names ever in show business. Names like John Barrymore, Frank
Sinatra and Humphrey Bogart. Check it out. It's a good starting point.
