Being a huge fan of Canadian Rye Whiskey, or just "Rye" as we call it, and
being part of a social circle in which rye is the spirit of choice, I have
seen Crown drank in many ways. I personally drink it with sprite. Ginger ale
is also popular, and coke is the traditional mixer. Crown is a very nice
choice as the whiskey component of a manhattan, and is also smooth enough to
be drank as just Crown and water, or straight up on the rocks.
It is a whiskey, so if you feel there is a "proper" way to drink whiskey, then
I guess that is your answer, otherwise, any way you choose to enjoy it is the
way you should drink it.

For those of you who like rye and would be interested in trying something a
little different; I recommend trying a rye called "Revelstoke". It is a
spiced rye made in Alberta, Canada. It carries caramel, and vanilla
undertones so it is a little sweet but not overpoweringly. I'm not sure
whether or not it is available in the States, but I recommed that anyone with
the opportunity to try it should take advantage.

Enjoy
Jeff
