Subject: Australia Calling !! Help !! making Liquerurs
From: rosemary stone
Posted: Fri Dec 18. 1998, 02:38 UTC
I am interested in making a coffee liqueur. Can ground coffee be used
instead of instant or granulated coffee?
Where can I find Vanilla beans or Pods?
Could I use a highly concentrated alchol content, with imitation essence ,
eg, coffee, instead of brandy to make coffee liqueur?
OR caco (same as above) for an Irish Cream liqueur, instead of Irish whiskey?
OR cagnac (as above) to make Orange- Cognac liqueur?
what is a ageing container? can I use a plastic container to age it?
Does any one know a good Kalua type liqueur to drink straight.
If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. thank you Rosemary.
