Here in Finland the advertising of hard liquors is forbidden. (Finnish
definition of hard liquor is that it has more than 22% alcohol in it. (44
proof, I think). Oh, and the leagal age to buy "mild" alcohol is 18 years and
for anything over 22% it's 20. But you can tend anything to a 18-year-old. No
restrictions there... :) (Actually the Finnish alcohol laws are quite funny...
In theory you aren't allowed to order two drinks at a time "to prevent fast
intoxication". You can't carry drinks if there are stairs on your route.
(Because stairs can't be marked as a territory where you can serve alcohol in,
and you aren't allowed to take alcoholic beverages outside the serving area.)
Alcohol sales "to go" stops at 9 pm. (By that I mean that the neighbourhood
stores aren't allowed to sell e.g. beer after 9 pm. No restaurant is able to
sell you for example a bottle of wine to go.) Only bars are allowed to serve
after that.
Gee... I really poured my heart out of everything that's wrong in here. :D
