The best way to serve this dish is to cut the watermelon into pieces i think
long shapes are pretty although some prefer squares and my daring mate dave
even once cut his into stars although this was a bit wasteful, place the
pieces of melon onto a serving dish or plate or tray, once the dish is ready
for service present it to the guest and invite them to partake warning them of
the alcoholic content and handing them a napkin for the inevitable juice on
chin.
The best way to eat the dish is to grasp it firmly in both hands and take a
bite moving the melon to you rather than you to the melon i prefer to work
from one end to the other, the most important thing at this point is to ensure
that you don't eat any of the pips as this will certainly cause a huge melon
to grow inside you and you will burst, finally the pips should be spat gently
but firmly into a suitable container taking care to avoid the loss of too much
spittle.

Hope this helps you, Pete

PS next weeks lesson at bar school will be advanced techniques for the perfect
whisky and coke
