The lowest calorie containing drink would be dry red wine, it doesn't contain
very much sugar at all. Obviously every "food" is eventually broken down into
a sugar in some form. If wine isn't an option then a quality vodka, such as
stoli oranj and club soda with lime is the way to go. Vodka is high in
calories, I believe about 200 per ounce, but alcohol is the first source of
energy to be burnt in your system, carbohydrates and fat (or is it protein)
follow next. It is not stable at all, it will even be breated and sweated
out, not just "burnt", so not all of the calories necessarily have to count in
one's diet journal.
Dieting is also a stupid habit, most just reduce your metabolic rate to that
of an 80 year old man. I consider myself an expertd on this subject because I
lost 80lbs 5 years ago and haven't gained a pound back. I did the one thing
that works, changed my lifestyle. If you live in America and work the 9 to 5,
just expect to be fat. Look at most of the population living in most non-posh
areas, fat fat fat. Large asses all about, it is who we are, god bless the
U.S.A. sarcasm
I find it to be amusing that they just increased cigs $8 a carton here in PA,
yet they still have buy one get one free sales on Jelly donuts (I puke at the
thought of eating a donut). Obesity causes many more problems than smoking.
So what is the answer? Reverse immigration! Yes, yes, next year I flee back
to Europe where my ancestors once fled to free themselves from the confines of
opression. There I will be without the confines of so much materialism (for
lack of so much space to put the goods) and will remain skinny!
