"Be sure to accompany this drink with music from a low-key steel drum band and
"lotsa lovin." Like the song goes, "Well, I ask my lady what should I do to
make she happy, to make love true." She said, "The only thing I want from you
is a little piece of the big bamboo."

Big Bamboo

2 oz. light rum
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. grenadine syrup
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. fresh orange juice
Mint sprigs for garnish

Combine all ingredients except garnish in a bar shaker filled with ice.
Strain into a glass filled with lots of cracked ice. Garnish with mint sprigs.

This is one of my favorite drinks from Tropic Cooking by Joyce Lafray Young.
