I used to caddy at a private golf course, and I know for a fact that the drink
girls (who drive around in golf carts and sell drinks and sandwiches, etc.)
made a heck of a lot of money. Generally speaking, if someone is willing to
slap down several thousand dollars a year for a membership and pay $6 for a
Caesar in a plastic cup, they will be just as willing to give the server at
least a couple bucks for a tip. And on a hot day, be ready to multiply your
earnings by a large margin.
If I were in your shoes, I'd definately go for it. Besides, I'd much rather be
spending time at a nice country club rather than in a smoky bar (but then
again, I guess that's why I'm not a bartender by trade).
