Campari cocktails are very popular. They make it like a traditional old
fashioned here (sort of) only with lemons or limes. They go through litres
of Campari. So pretty much any cocktail you find that has campari expect it
to be well received in Holland. So that would be one, because you know how
popular it is here! *not very*

However, you will find that most European countries don't drink a lot of
various traditional cocktails. One has to seek out an "american bar" to find
a healthy selection. This is not always the case, but it seems to be normal
for beer/wine drinking to take the place of cocktails.

Also apertifs are very popular. Sipping on baily's, kaluha, sambuca
(especially), is very common. They also have their own apertifs that are
common to the countries, those I am not sure about for netherlands because I
did not seek those out. That would be something else to include. If you
chose Germany I could tell you everything, but sorry my friend!
