A google search just turned up one called International Bartending school
(phone 734-513-4433) in Livonia. Check into it before you give them any
money. You would probably be better off searching for a job in a high traffic
bar as a barback. Let them know thay you want to learn the craft and you will
learn far more abotu bartending than you would in a class. Plus, you get paid
instead of paying someone else. To round it all out, get yourself a couple
empty bottles (easy to come by in a bar ;) ) and buy a sack of spead pourers.
Then practice count-pouring at home. Buy yourself a book of drink recipes
and watch those bartenders!
