Here's the story: Couple of days ago I got completely deaddrunk, 2-hour
complete memory loss, vomiting over everyone and everything, including myself,
grabbing women I really shouldn't grab and so on and so forth. Anyways, my
consumption was not particularly excessive, in my opinion. 4 tequila shots, 3
double screwdrivers, and also a disgusting shot my friend invented on the same
night, a energy drink called battery mixed with bacardi limon. Battery
contains lots of caffeine, + the stuff other energy drinks like Jolt Cola has.
Granted, my stomach was rather empty, having only had breakfast, however, my
tolerance is not THAT low, and I speak from previous experience.
My question is: What on Earth got me that drunk? Do energy drinks containing
caffeine etc cause somewhat similar reactions to mixing medication and such
together with alcohol? Those energy drinks do increase blood circulation,
which I suppose could cause quicker intoxication, but not increase
intoxication, but then again I am no scientist. I suppose this won't matter,
but who knows: I did have pills before drinking, but those were only breath
mints.
I am far from new to drinking, however, I am not exactly what you would call
a seasoned drinker either.
Could someone help me out here, so my friends and I, if I'm that stupid again,
won't make the same mistake of mixing energy drinks with alcohol, if indeed
that was a mistake.
I have never heard of alcohol tolerance changing so drastically so as to
justify such complete intoxication after my hardly excessive consumption.
Thank you for your attention.
