I wouldn't advise preparing a drink before the customer asks for it.  You'll 
end up dumping more than a few of them and that will drive your liquor costs 
up fast.  Particularly in a country club setting where you regular may just be 
stopping in to grab a Power-Ade for the golf course.  It's a great idea to 
learn their drinks so you can offer it to them ("Grey Goose and cran, Mr 
Marnhout?")  It makes them feel like you are playing special attention to them 
and will affect your bottom line, tip-wise.
