Hey Martini:
Sorry if I came across like an asshole. But here's the truth: Other than
"T.I.P.S" and TAM, which are both alcohol-awareness-training tools (IE: to
prevent accidents, injury, etc...) there are NO states that require a
bartender to graduate from a Bartending School at all.! Thus, CERTIFICATION
is only a ploy of the national chain-bartending schools.!

"there was no 'LIST'...The leads they give are from bars that have called the
school"
.......Are you Sure??? Really?? I'm a graduate of USA's largest and most
"Prestigious" bartending school(American Bartenders School...which stole
hundreds of thousands of $$$$ from the state of California by enticing the
'down-and-out'to take advantage of the state-grants available to learn a new
trade, only to collect on those grants even if the student was a homeless
person/addict/alcoholic/loser who quit the course after only a few days<a 3
month course> and not tell the government! CHA-CHING:$4000.00!!!!////this
school is now called "PROFESSIONAL" instead of "AMERICAN" nowadays.).....and I
only recieived a telephone number to call that let me know what was in the
newspaper. SO DID YOUR SCHOOL! Face it, your school's phone wasn't ringing
off the hook, was it? Think, ARE YOU SURE?
I've been in the business for over 14 years now and have met MANY bartenders
who are graduates from most of ALL of the National Chains including "ABC
BARTENDING SCHOOLS"....in short, everyone has told me that they are a JOKE!!!!

Choose a small-privately owned school or opt to be a BARBACK.
your choice!

Jordan.
