The proof or percentage of alcohol is a representation of how much pure
alcohol is in a drink. 200 proof or 100% would be pure alcohol and nothing
else.

So to answer your question it would be the same.

50% gin is 1/2 alcohol, so 10 cl gin = 5 cl alcohol
10% wine is 1/10 alcohol, so 50 cl wine - 5 cl alcohol

Regardless the type of alchol the body processes approximately 1/2 oz. of pure
alcohol or 1 ounce of a 50% 100 proof alcohol.

Hope that answers your question.
