Hi:
I got my first job straight out of bartenders school (11 years ago) and have 
never regretted going to bartending school.  Furthermore; I used the job 
placement twice more with success.
yes, some of the schools mean well. Visit more than one school. do your 
homework. It's up to the student to be dilligent, assertive and DETERMINED to 
find work once he/she's finished the course. 

One day at a club I worked at some years ago we took a poll during an employee 
meeting.  With a couple of "C'mon! Tell the truth"'s  one by one everyone told 
the truth about how they got into bartending...  and surely enough half of us 
attended bartending school!

I believe that HALF of all bartenders on the west coast attended bartending 
school but won't admit it!

  So there you have it.
