Yup! Met an Italian guy here in Vegas (he's living in London) who went to
california to learn Bartending at the San Francisco School of Bartending. I
live in Las Vegas and have heard good things about this school, (it's kinda
like a japanese "Joo-Koo" Crash course on customer service, high-tech computer
monitors, one-on-one type of stuff. NOT just drinks...and I'm a sceptic!). He
went back to to London and got a job immediately in London's club district
solely on the basis that he had a certificate stating that he was an
"American-Trained Bartender" landed a job straight away in a martini bar
making good money. I went to bartending school too but never bragged about it
to anyone. For good reason.
This guy was very PROUD. Evidently this school will fail you if you don't
pass.
