I would just like say thanks to all of you for your sugesstions and I have
taken them all in to consideration in order to tip my barback fairly and make
sure he gets what he deserves I have recently found out that he gets tips from
the waitstaff, D.J., and ocassionally from customers in which he keeps for
himself (which I don't mind at all) and have decided to go with the percentage
system. When I first started working behind the bar I aked the owners how much
I should tip the barback and he suggested than I tip him very littel but that
was because I could never find him he was always on the other side flirting
with the dancers and drinking but now that I have a very hardworking and
competent barback I wanted my tip to reflect how much I appreciate his work.
