I agree with Dan,

I have always treated my barbacks as equal team members, and the extra couple 
of pounds you give them is nothing compared with the extra respect they give 
you.

Only greedy, self-righteous bartenders think that their 'visible' barwork is 
more important than the work of a barback.

It you don't want to pay the barback their fair, equal share then perhaps you 
should clean glasses, empty bins yourself.

I have yet to hear a good explanation as to why a barback 'deserves' less 
TIPS. If they are bad at their job, get another barback.

Barbacks make working a bar, a much smoother experience.

Glasses!, ashtrays!, bins!, restocking!.
