Different bars require different things from bar backs. My bar barback works
his tail off! Some of his duties are to set up my well with ice, condiments,
napkins, ect. and clean glasses. He also cleans up any spills or broken
glasses.
He makes sure my bar and coolers are fully stocked. He also cooks the food
since we do not make alot of money off of food to hire a full time person to
do it. He also helps me prepare drinks when i get slammed so make sure you
know some popular recipies. Thats one and only problem that I have with him is
that since he knows littel english he some times messes up the drink and I
hafta go behind him and fix it wasteing liquor and time. My suggestion to you
is to ask the bar what your responibilities would be. Sorry to here about your
current situation and I wish you the best of luck.
