Perhaps the substitution of J.D. for bourbon in a cocktail, depends on the
flavour of the original (?) bourbon being substituted.

Or if you want J.D. in your cocktails so badly, instead of bourbon, and the
cocktails taste good to you, what can stop you?

George!

P.S. is it possible for someone to shovel all the facts from this thread into
one big heap? So I can read it properly.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
