Yeah, I didn't really give a full bar for her because she really only
mentioned beer and wine so I didn't know if she wanted that and to be
honest.... it was late last night when I was doing it...my bad. But I gave
her a couple of what I think the most wanted spirits would be...very
basic...she didn't ask about any special drinks so I didn't bother with pina
coladas or that kind of thing. Didn't know what kind of money she was
spending either. As for the beer...not everyone is going to drink beer. If
everyone had one then that might be a problem, but it's doubtful. I can't
tell you how many times I ice down a bunch of beer, just cause you gotta have
it ready, and then I only get rid of a couple all night. It really depends on
the kind of party and the kind of crowd, so I was kind of shooting down the
middle with my recommendations because the only detail she gave was over 40.
I also told her that she could get another case if she thought her crowd were
really beer drinkers or wine drinkers. I did tell her scotch for sure because
of the age of the guests. I figure there'll be at least a few people wanting
scotch rocks or with a spash of water or soda. So.....I stand by my
recommendations. It's really hard to say without knowing more about what the
crowd is going to be like.... although you're right....some Crown wouldn't
hurt at all. ;)

If she wants more ideas about specials drinks I hope she'll read this and ask
away...I'm sure we'd all have some ideas for her.
