Hunter S Thompson recounts the story in one of his books ,of being in a bar 
drinking margaritas on the rocks  and having a guy ask him when he's going to 
quit drinking "sissy drinks" at which point I think thompson maced him.

What I used call a foo-foo drink was anything made with a blender or served 
with an umbrella.

A "real man" orders what he wants and to hell what other people think.
