Subject: homemade flavored liqours

Hello there.

I cooked some clementine peels in sugar-water to obtain a nice thick syrup. I 
was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about how to add this to liqour. I 
tried adding some vodka, and it turned out OK. But the bitterness from the 
peels was still there.

Has anyone experimented with this kind of stuff?
