Subject: Something about Shakers?
From: Serge R.

Is there a standard measure for shakers? And if, what is it?
They sell a lot of shakers(I mean American sites) which vary from 8oz to
28oz.(8,10,16,24,28oz). And this is an American measures. Here, in Ukraine, I
use a 600ml shaker (~20.29oz), made in Poland!:) Your opinion about
it(measure)?
And also, I saw shakers are sold without top parts, just glasses. What does
it mean? Or it's just a photo but the shaker is "full"? I know shaker's
glasses are used for flairing too.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
