I'll do the best I can. But I think you need to have some glasses that are a
little bit more standard. A single serving of brandy (2 oz) is served in an 8
oz snifter. (you need to get one). If it is served on ice, than after you
have put in the brandy in the 8 oz snifter, then you put in crushed ice, but
do not let the ice go above the top of the level of the brandy.
A double serving (4oz) of brandy is put in a sixteen ounce snifter. Same
rules apply for the ice.
You need 3 oz martini/cocktail glasses, they are never served with ice in them
only 3 oz Margarita glasses or Coupets can be. And when you put in ice always
fill it up to the rim of the glass. Even though it looks full it is only 50%
full because of the cracks in between the ice..
7 1/2 oz Martini glasses: this is for a double without ice or single drink
filled with ice. also may be used for ice cream drinks. (you need 3oz martini
glasses)
7 oz rocks glasses: this is more of a highball glass. up to and not more
than 1 3/4 oz liqueur, filled with a mixer. Always filled comepletly with
ice. it is normally at least a minimum of 1 oz of liqueur. less than 1 oz of
alcohol than the alcohol would become too diluted with a mixer.
i would also get 3 oz rock glasses.
10 oz highball glass: more than 1 3/4 oz liqueur, ice, always toped off with
mixer/s.
2 oz cordials glasses: i do not know for sure but i think no more than 1.5 oz
of alcohol.
Do not know about wine:
10.5 oz red/white wine glasses (I am pouring 6 oz pours for the
> wine)
