Raisin Vodka

  1    lb raisins   
  3    cups vodka -- 80 proof  
  1    cup water  
  1    teaspoon cinnamon, ground  
  6    whole cloves  
  2    cups white sugar  

1    Chop raisins into large piecies.  
2    Put in mixing jar with cloves and cinnamon, and cover with vodka and
     water.  Cover.  
3    Leave to infuse for 2 weeks.  
4    Strain through large strainer and then hand squeeze remaining raisins.  
5    Add sugar.  
6    Shake vigorously until sugar is dissolved.  
7    Leave to clear for one week.  
8    Decant clear liqueur and bottle.
