Ok, I got a job at a bar with no experience...I walked in and they hired me on
the spot. I guess I am lucky. Well...the thing is this bar/club is in South
Carolina and south carolina is the only state that uses mini bottles as it is
illegal to free pour! So I guess my question is has anyone ever dealt with
this and what the hell do i do with drinks that call for a 1/2 once of
something or other? I asked a bartender there and he said to pour the whole
mini in the drink...so say if it was a white russian, i use 2 minibottles,
kahlua and vodka, and of course cream...but like in a cosmo which needs a dash
of cointreau(sp?), what am i supposed to do in that situation...well...they
don't even carry it so that doesnt really matter but you get the idea.
Atleast I got lucky and am getting experience...when i go back home to philly
in the summer thye are free pour and i can learn that way too.
my questions:
how do i get around the minibottle problem?
and any other tips or comments you have.
BTW i am a 21/m
thanks.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
