this is from a program i have of "Insiders recipes".
from all the ones i have tried have been dead on but anyway:

 Kahlua

                   1 qt water
               2 1/2 c Sugar
                   3 tb Instant coffee
                   1 tb Vanilla
               2 1/2 c Vodka

Bring water, sugar and coffee to a boil in a saucepan.
Simmer VERY slowly for 3 hours. Mixture will be very dark
and syrupy. Cool. Add vanilla and vodka. Makes 7 cups.

well there it is cut and pasted just for you. personally i add more vanilla
(maybe to much) and last time i made it i browned the sugar or "caramalized"
it with good results. still if you are looking for a "dead on" taste may i
also suggest make the coffee like a week before as my Kahlua always taste
REALY fresh. i guess it is the long trip form the factory or something. some
say let it sit for 1 month after making it but screw that fresh is good.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
