Subject: RE: Recipe for Mike's Hard Lemonade
From:
Date: 30Jun01

!!!!!!THIS IS IT!!!!!!!about 7% alcohol!!!!!!

1 20 liter container

15 cans of frozen 'cheap lemonade'that has no corn starch added to it in the
ingredients

4 cups sugar

1 package of beer yeast

4 dozen empty beer bottles and the twist caps (save them up or get from
friends)

4-5 feet of clear hose (hardware store)
__________________________________________________________

1. thaw and strain the frozen lemonade so there is no pulp

2. put sugar in big container and pour boiling water over it to melt the sugar

3. put sugar water and strained lemonade into 20 liter container and fill with
cold water, leaving a couple of inches at the top

4. test with finger should be room temperature, if not wait over night!

5. sprinkle yeast on top and leave overnight, stir it the next day

6. leave undisturbed 10 days, on a table top

7. clean 4 dozen regular size beer bottles with the caps (you'll have to save
them up)

8. put in 1/2 spoon sugar in each bottle !!!no more than that!!! make sure to
measure!!!

9. using a length of hose sypon (put one end in the container and one end in
your mouth and suck) into the bottles leave a little room at the top about 1
1/2 inch put the cap on and twist it tight and give it a shake (you will know
if its on the right way if it dosent spray everywhere)(dont suck up the
bottom)

10. leave for 10 days and then enjoy!!!!!!!

*when pouring tilt bottle steady and at eye level so you dont pour any of the
sediment thats in the bottom into your glass, pour all at one time!

**you can make it in bigger bottles but you will have to figure the sugar to
put in (like pop bottles)and then pour into pitcher.

***Dont drink to much! As ever, Jacqueline!
