Whether one person orders six drinks, or six people at a table each orders one 
drink, you CAN NOT add a gratuity to the check unless you state the companies 
policy when they first sit down at the establishment.

It varies at different establishments, but if a party of "X" amount enters a 
restaurant they will be told that about a 10% gratuity will be added to their 
bill.
