I am curious as to how many ounces in a scoop of ice-cream. If I were to make
a drink and substitue an ounce-and-a-half of cream in the recipe, I would need
to know how many ounces of ice-cream to throw in the blender to replace the
cream.
If you ever have a drink that you like with cream in it like a Brandy
Alexander or a Creamsicle, substitute the half-and-half with a good vanilla
ice cream - you would quickly see what I mean.
This drink is a highly requested drink in Rhode Island bars. My bartending
teacher loved it and praised its creator.
Creamsicle
1 oz Creme de Banana
1/2 oz orange juice
1 1/2 oz half and half
Shake all the ingredients with ice and pour into a cocktail glass.
