I know a nice person who owns a number of bars and clubs. In one
Restaraunt/bar that I would go to, he would only hire pretty, decent, educated
young women with nice personalities. It was a nice atmosphere and the women
were very sweet. Unfortunately, at this restaraunt/club, he also hired them
without experience, and some with no knowlege whatsoever of alcohol. One
customer ordered a Seven and Seven at the bar. The bartender goes "what's
that?" The customer didn't get angry, just smiled and turned red (and told
her how to make the drink). As time went on, customers got angry and very
rude to the bartenders. One bartender decided she would rather be a waitress
and joined the waitstaff. I felt bad for all of them, but people go to bars
to drink, not for the bartender. True if a bartender has the personality of a
pit bull, it wouldn't matter how well he or she made a drink, I wouldn't go
there. But if a waitress is friendly and can make a drink, than she can be 80
and way over 400 pounds and that is where I will deposit my money.

So, if what you say is true, I do not care how nice, educated, or how loose
she is, if she does not make the drinks correctly and in a timely manner than
what goes around will come around and the establishment will suffer.

As far as getting a lawyer and suing. I would talk to a lawyer, but it might
be best to first try to find another job.

This is my opinion and I hope I helped you.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
