Dom, then when someone requests a Sambuca, in Italy, it is served neat and 
without the roasted coffee beans.  So (according to this recipe) if Italian 
tradition is to serve the Sambuca with three coffee beans (on request only) it 
seems to me that if someone ordered it with the coffee beans he/she would be 
requesting to know whether he/she is welcomed or not.
