The acutal thread is rimming the glass with sugar I think, it's worth reading.
Mostbars have a little gaget that is a tray with a round sponge and a tray
with alt and a tray with sugar. you dip the glass on th sponege then in the
salt or sugar. Some place use water in the sponge some use rose's and some use
triple sec.. I prefer the use of water as it's easier to clean and grows less
bacteria.
No client ever noticed the difference and I couldn't tell myself in a taste
test/
