yes cornoa is traditionaly served with a lime.I would point out that limon in 
spanish is either a lemon or a lime and if you want a lemon you ask for limon 
amarillo which tranlastes as a yellow lime. If you just ask for limon you will 
get a lime 9 out of 10 times if both are on the table,you want the lime you 
say limon verde or green lime.

 I've heard a lot of stories as how/why this got started but the truth is that 
mexicans put lime on everything.
