I'm going to watch a class, free of charge and no obligations, to see what
it's like. They have a classroom that is the exact duplicate of a bar room
lounge, with hands on training. The course has bartending equipment and
tools, and covers:
Bar Setup
Mixology
Liquors and wines
Customer Service
Interviewing Techniques
Alcohol Awareness
Just one question, veteran bartenders. The school employee who got me the
free class said summer's the best season--demand for staff is highest and
they can put me to work RIGHT AWAY. Is this true about summers--I'm sure
bartending, like other fields, has peak seasons and lesser seasons--or is
this a sales
technique designed to get me to enroll?
Just curious. Your two cents please!
