       Jaybirdieboy,

Hiccup's are just a reversal of the parastolic movement of the esophageal
air way.
Sometimes they are as easy to cure as drinking a glass of water, other
times it can take more drastic measures. Lime wedges covered with bitters
usually works. A tablespoon of a course grain mustard works sometimes. Holding
your breath and counting to ten while drinking water can also work. One thing
I have learned is that everybody has a remedy and wants you to try it on some
poor unsuspecting soul.

          Fillup.
