A number of people have requested the ingredients to Tequila Rose, Baja Rosa
and Baja Luna, etcetera. If you would taste the Tequila Rose try to figure
out as many of the ingredients that you can. You can possibly add some of
those ingredients to the recipes below.

Here is a couple of recipes from the book "Cordials From Your Kitchen" by
Patti Vargas and Rich Gulling

Strawberries and Cream

1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 cups Cream Base
2 teaspoons strawberry extract
1 cup 80 proof vodka (I would substitute a low proof silver/white tequila)
3/4 cup strawberry syrup
2 drops red food coloring

Make a simple syrup by bringing sugar and water to a boil over medium-high
heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. When clear, remove from heat
and let stand until just warm. Combine syrup, Cream Base, vodka/tequila, and
strawberry extract in a sterile 1-quart container. Add strawberry syrup and
food coloring, cover, and shake to mix. Store in refrigerator for up to one
month. Yield: Approximately 1 QUART.

If you want to make Strawberries and Cream with fresh strawberries, you can do
it by macerating sliced strawberries in vodka/tequila, straining them out, and
adding the flavored vodka/tequila to the remaining ingredients.

Strawberry-Coconut Cream

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 can (14 ounces) coconut milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 teaspoons imitation coconut extract
3/4 cup strawberry syrup
1 cup vodka/tequila

Make a simple syrup by bringing sugar and water to a boil over medium-high
heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. When clear, remove from heat
and let stand until just warm. Combine syrup, coconut milk, and vanilla and
coconut extract in a sterile 1-quart container. Mix thoroughly. Add
vodka/tequila and strawberry syrup, cover, and stir or shake until blended.
Store in refrigerator for up to one month. Yield: Approximately 1 QUART.
