Pisco thing

So, I don't like raw egg white. Pisco Sours are great unless you have one in Peru and the egg white is tainted. So, after I regained my regularity and returned stateside, I tried this, using Pisco Regular, whatever your favorite brand.. 1.5 oz Pisco Regular ...

Cocktails Using Port

Cocktails using port - especially Ruby and Tawny ports - are growing in popularity and will be trending even more for this upcoming Port Day, January 27. What's your favorite way to serve port? On the rocks? In a mulled cider? As far as cocktails go, I personally enjoy this twist on a favorite, the Cosmopolitan. Cheers! ...

I'm assuming that your use of the term "mixologist", as well as your claim to have a Doctorate, are both exercises in delicious irony? If so, then your post is quite clever. If not, then you're irredeemably remedial. Love and hugs Q

Re: NEW: the aviation cocktail

Ach, this is just wrong on so many levels. You have suggested that lemon juice is optional - it isn't. It's an integral part of the drink, and it wouldn't be an Aviation without it. The drink was originally made with Crème Yvette, which hasn't been produced in more than half a century (although I understand ...

First off the the Cinna-beer Slug Fill your pint glass to about an inch below completely full with your favorite lager. Now take a shot glass (preferably a normal 1oz) and first put in 1/2oz of Hot damn. Now layer a thin strip of Jaegermeister on top and try not to break through the top of the Hot Damn. I usually use an eye dropper to help or you can use an overturned spoon to achieve this effect. ...

Re: Cherry Pie/ Blueberry Pie

i don't know about blueberry pie but i do know a shot called a blueberry waffle. take equal parts of stoli blueberry vodka(thats what i use but i'm sure you could use any type of blueberry flavored vodka) and butterscotch schnapps and combine them in mixing tin with ice. shake for a good 30 sec then let it rest. the colder it is the better i tastes i think. don't let it sit too long tho or you'll water it down. strain into shot or rocks glass and enjoy
