Pisco, technically a type of brandy, is distilled from grapes grown in the warm and sunny regions of Chile and Peru. It was first produced in the Pisco province of Peru in the 16th century.
Pisco can either be enjoyed straight or used in mixed drinks, one of the best know being the Pisco Sour.
