Shake well with lots of ice. Strain into glass. Garnish with fresh lime wedge if desired.
This is a classic Mexican recipe for drinking Tequila. I don't remember where I learned it. I think it was a precursor to the modern Margarita. I didn't think Tequila & Grenadine would be a good combination, but the ingredients blend beautifully & this drink is outstanding!
