Pour all ingredients into a shaker full of ice. Stir or shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Less sweet and more complex than a straightforward gimlet, it still has the deep green color and sweet acidity that Rose's lime juice lends it. And it tastes better than martinis. I like it with Boodles or Tanqueray gin.
